These terms apply to Hydra Notes, the web app at notes.hep.gg and the Hydra Notes apps for iPhone and iPad, made by Team Hydra in Canada. By creating an account or using Hydra Notes you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Hydra Notes.
You sign in with your email address or your Hep.gg account. Keep access to that email or account secure: anyone who can open your sign-in links can use your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
You own the notes, tasks, cards, files and other content you put in Hydra Notes. You give Team Hydra permission to store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to provide Hydra Notes to you and to the people you share it with. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to store and share it.
Members of a shared folder can see its content, and editors can change it. The owner of a shared folder can remove members or delete the folder, which deletes its content for everyone. Anyone with a public share link can read that note until you revoke the link.
Do not use Hydra Notes to store or share illegal content, to harm or harass others, to send spam, to spread malware, or to try to break or overload the service or access accounts or data that are not yours. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Accounts have a storage limit, shown in the app. We may change limits and features over time. When an account is over its limit, some features (like adding attachments) may stop working until space is freed.
The Claude assistant can make mistakes; check anything important. Integrations such as Discord are also subject to those services' own terms.
We work hard to keep Hydra Notes running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may change or discontinue features, and if we ever shut Hydra Notes down we will give reasonable notice so you can export your content. Keeping your own copies of important notes is a good idea; you can export them from the web app.
You can stop using Hydra Notes and delete your account at any time from the iPhone or iPad app or by emailing us. We may suspend or end access for accounts that break these terms.
Hydra Notes is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Team Hydra is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Hydra Notes. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
If you downloaded Hydra Notes from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app. Apple is not responsible for Hydra Notes or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Team Hydra is based.
If we change these terms we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the apps or by email before they take effect.
